Music/SFX: Unlike in the original version, all music and sounds are digital recordings.
Also, there is no Special Edition modern credit/musical intro sequence, instead they put the intro music on the game's main menu and give you a half-assed slightly-changed classic credit intro with the musical score from a digital Roland MT-32 recording. As a long-time fan I was bitterly disappointed with this, so, I created a makeshift intro montage using elements from both the Special Edition's classic and modern interfaces (all the music and sound are from the Special Edition's modern interface).
Note that the sequence order is different from the original version's, due to the Elaine intro scene being immediately followed by the Scabb Island intro scene in the Special Edition version, instead of the credit sequence as in the original version. I created an alternative video with the same ordering as the original version's for those of you who might find that more appealing ( • "Monkey Island 2" Intro (Alternative Arran... ).
