Does my hair have to be long?
-No, a lot of starletts wore their hair short with similar waves :). As long as it's close to your shoulders you got this! ;)
What if my hair is hard to curl?
-The pinning we're doing will help with that a lot. Additionally, don't use too many conditioning products when you wash and dry your hair prior to curling as those can weigh it down. Use a strong hold mousse while your hair is still wet, as the product will remain on the hair when it dries and will hold it better. Finally, a bit of spray while the hair is on the iron goes a long way!
What if I don't need more volume?
-Just don't be so concerned with pulling the roots up. Instead, pull them at a 45 degree angle from the head. (that will create less volume than the 90 or 135 degree angle I was using to create volume)
