In this episode we take a look around an Audi S3 that was booked for a New Car Preparation with Gtechniq Crystal Serum paint protection and the extra's pack (wheels, glass and interior treatments). However on arrival, with 3.5k miles already clocked, it was clear a little more than the standard New Car procedure would be required (vehicle has called in at the roadside car wash half a dozen times already... A big no no!) Extra time during the decontamination stage required as well as various localised corrections to fix the paint defects before application of Crystal Serum, Gtechniq's flagship ceramic coating.

Also, two minutes of me waffling on about the Two Bucket Wash Method and the ideas behind it... If you're still washing your car with a single bucket and a sponge, take note!

At the end of the episode, a brief look into an inspection session 12 months on for a Discovery 4 that was treated to the New Car Prep itself just over a year ago and left wearing the full protection. Still in great shape and washes like a boss!
