Описание:
[~느니] is a connective ending of a verb and means that among the two choices, both are not attractive to the speaker; the speaker preferably chooses activity B, which is after the [~느니] clause. It can be translated to [rather than] or [Instead]. The adverb [차라리] is well harmonized with [~느니] sentences and emphasizes the meaning of [rather].
