ICC delegates visited Eden Gardens for inspection before the T20 World Cup where Bangladesh is going to play their first 3 matches if not altered with Scotland. The ICC team consists of members from Cricket operations, logistics and branding. The visit came after the day when ICC gave the final ultimatum to the Bangladesh Cricket board to play the T20 world cup in the scheduled venue. Apart from this CAB (Cricket Association of Bengal) also held a special meeting with the Kolkata Police top cops for the security related issues as raised by BCB on Thursday before the ICC delegates visited Eden. But as per sources, Kolkata Police ensured special security for all the teams. Eden gardens also hosted crucial matches of Pakistan team during the 2023 Men's World Cup.
