DataB. Mailservice is a leading Dutch transactional mail specialist with a capacity of one million A4 pages per day, serving the needs of a range of public and private sector clients, large and small. Its challenge was to meet the growing need for high quality full colour with a reliable and environmentally responsible printing system.
Data B. selected Ricoh for its professional organisation and service support and its IP5000 GP with a twin set-up to produce duplex printing in full colour. Taking advantage of multidrop inkjet technology and pigment inks. The printer has integrated seamlessly into Data B.'s workflow, processing AFP files and PostScript and PDF datastreams. The investment with Ricoh is enabling the fulfilment of Data B.'s aspiration to become a White Paper Factory as it sees speed rise and costs fall. Clients are responding favourably to the new service and colour volumes are growing. Further growth is confidently expected as a result of this fruitful relationshuip between Data B. Mailservice and Ricoh.
