German Landbier - Lesser Known Beer Styles

Описание: Today we are going to be discussing the very ambiguous umbrella known as landbier. Originating in the Franconian region of Germany during the lager revolution, small village breweries began experimenting with lagering techniques making beers that didnt quite fit into pre-established cookie cutter beer styles. These nebulous beers have inspired debate and discussion on the existential and esoteric aspects of beer and the need for styles. Today we look at Landbiers history, definitions and future of landbier and landbier's potential to change the beer community as a whole!
