O beautiful More, its probably one of the oldest Albanian songs. More! Is it an exclamation point?!… A beautiful girl ?! No! More is the present-day Peloponnese of Greece. According to a study published in Italy in 1886, by the Arbëresh philologist Dhimitër Kamarda, More is a large region, which the Greeks changed their name and returned to the Peloponnese. The song "O beautiful More" memorizes the great memory of a lost homeland. According to the Arbëresh philologist, it is a toponym of this place from where most of today's Arbëresh of Italy left.
