Do you really want to know how to read and write Hangul?
Are you still confused the pronunciation of Hangul the Korean Alphabet?
That is why Teacher Kim is here. It is time to escape from Romanization. Now I am starting Hangul lesson for absolutely beginners. And this is the first tutorial of my Korean Alphabet curriculum for beginners.

Korean Alphabet Tutorial for beginners - Korean Alphabet (1) What is Hangul? - 한글이란 무엇인가?

1. What is Hangul(한글)? (00:31) - 한글이란 무엇인가?
Hangul is Korean Alphabet. It has 21 vowels and 19 consonants.
And Hangul is sound letters like english.
The order of writing Hangul is different with english. Each Hangul character has one vowel and consonants. And the words are made of these characters.

2. Who created Hangul? (01:55) - 누가 한글을 만들었는가?
Hangul was created King Sejong and his scholars in 1443
Before Hangul was created Korean people talked each other in Korean but they still used Chinese characters which is not suitable to Korean language. King Sejong wanted to help his people to create native Korean Alphabet that is called 훈민정음(Hun min jeong eum) not we call it 한글(Hangul or Hangul)

3. How was Hangul created? (02:37) - 한글의 창제 원리
한글(Hangul) was created philosophically and scientifically.
Hangul vowel : Hangul vowels are composed of three symbols that are the sky(.), the earth(ㅡ) and human(ㅣ).
Hangul Consonant : Hangul consonants are made following mouth shapes when pronouncing that sounds.

*How to learn Hangul with Teacher Kim?
This curriculum is focusing on Pronunciation and Writing Hangul. Each lesson video provide Free Writing Material in the description so you can practice writing Hangul.

(3rd Sep 2019) 8. /y/ Diphthong ㅑ, ㅕ, ㅛ, ㅠ, ㅖ, ㅒ
