A whimsical playful folk art inspired spirit bird: painting joy and meaning

Описание: There are some artists who's style and voice is clear and recognizable. I've always thought I wanted that but do I really?

In this folk art painting series I am exploring how I use practice, repetition, and working in a series to find my creative voice as a mixed media folk art painter.

It's also important to me that my art is an expression of my feelings and deeper connection to nature and spirituality. As I explore this whimsical folk art style, I look for ways that I can do that.

If you are someone who has been taking all the classes and you are ready to explore your own style, this is for you.

I am using Golden and Liquitex fluid acrylics for this experiment today.

This will be a mixed media series exploring folk art, acrylic painting, Posca markers and creating your own library of symbols and marks.
