I only do this when a radio being tested has cost me more than £150.
I'm not interested in SSB whatsoever. I'm only doing this to prove the manual is close enough to cover this type of set as a customer wants to send one in with no TX after being on a bad aerial.
This channel is supposed to be solely about UK FM CB radios.
In line with post 2014 UK legislation, this was the first UK legal SSB capavble radio. Be quite clear; on a CE approved radio UK users can use AM & FM at 4W & SSB at 12WPEP on the CEPT set of 40 channels. UK 40 channels (thankfully) remain FM 4W.
