Winter Frosts and Mists of the River Avon Cycle Ride

Описание: A leisure cycle ride along the River Avon from the city of Bath to Bristol and Clifton Village passing Saltford and Keynsham in South Gloucestershire, England.

I waited for the right sort of time to cycle this trail. Starting at Bath Spa railway station and following the River Avon and onto the Bristol & Bath Railway Path for a short while before splitting off and following the Avon along the river banks. This alternative route along the river was kindly suggested by Christopher C in the comments section and a frosty and slightly frosty day seemed like the right day to try it.

I added a little to the suggestion by joining the river earlier to add a little more rather than cycle more of the path that has featured in a few of my other cycle films. As a trail the early part is mildly challenging but doesn't make the best cycle trail to follow but after Keynsham the trail is much more easy going and idyllic with the slow moving flow of the Avon River and treelined embankments.

I also added in the destination of Clifton and the bridge, something I had been planning on visiting for a film for a little while.
