Hi guys! My name is Rick and I wanted to leave my personal review of the Igloo IMX 24 qt cooler. I tried my best to capture all the highlights of the ice test I did , test set up, conditions , results and features of the cooler. Worth mentioning... I did prechill the cooler for 24 hours , replaced the ice with new fresh ice (a little less than 20lbs), and put two pre chilled soda cans in it. Then over the next couple of days I monitored the ice inside the cooler while measuring the inside and outside temperatures. Cooler was put in my truck bed the entire time and had direct sunlight. I opened the cooler 3-4 times a day and left the lid open for 5-10 seconds each time.
I may have left a few things out but I’m hoping the link below helps fill in the gaps. There are a lot of products out there and everyone needs to find out which one is best suited for you. I hope that this information may help you identify another good candidate.
