Founded in 1681 and dedicated to Saint Augustine of Hippo, the Catholic cathedral parish of Iba serves as the seat of the Diocese of Iba, which serves the entire province of Zambales, including the independent city of Olongapo. The current structure was built in the 18th century by Augustinian Recollects with coral and limestone.
