Meanwhile, in yet another barren place, Marth defends an already wrecked castle from the army without his actual army. How that makes sense is beyond me.

"It's because his kingdom is always being overrun at the start of every game of his," Palutena said. "It's a reference to how he always has to come back to defend his ruined kingdom from enemy armies."

"And I would implore you not to divulge such info here," Marth muttered.

Later, Meta Knight swoops in and fights Marth, then the two join together to fight the army. Heel Face Turn so soon? Later on, Ike comes out of nowhere and destroys a bomb. Too bad this is the first and last time something like this happens. The three make the Three Musketeers team and go after the minister, but they're cut off by a cliff.

"Disregard that ridiculous name, now," Meta Knight threatened.

"But it's fitting! And in this game, we shall NEVER be short on swordsmen, and Lucina! Smash Bros was meant to be a challenge made for swordsmen, and Lucina!" Palutena said.

"Do you really have to put emphasis on the fact she's the only swordswoman from the swordsmen?" Ike asked.

"Well yeah. The testosterone level in the series reeks badly."

"I-I can't disagree with her on that," Chris said.

Elsewhere, Dedede gets a rare Luigi trophy and then gets even more trophies, leaving Wario alone on the road.

"Loser stole my bike!" Wario complained.

"Ah, don't you just love how anti-heroic our little penguin was being here without saying why?" Palutena cooed.

"It's exactly why this kind of thing eventually leads to nasty problems down the road: because of poor communication skills," Meta Knight said.

"No, poor communication kills," the goddess corrected. "Can I turn Luigi into a trophy? I don't have that rare trophy in my collection."

"N-no, please, no!" Luigi begged.

Key Notes:

Overall: This stage is ought to kill you. I've got no idea how you're coming out of this without losing at least two lives. And screw tiers! Meta Knight will too die since he's a light character. Ike is too damn slow. Marth is probably the only good option to go through the entire thing.

First Part: Defend Ruined Castle Siege
This is the easiest (yet hardest) part of the stage. The hard part comes once you step outside where you'll deal with speedy enemies. Don't be shy if you need to escape.

Second Part: Heel Face Turn Moment
It's a fight against lots of mooks. Fend them off and don't fall down the cliff.

Third Part: Yet Even More Travel
For the record, before entering the catacombs, the scrolling section has a sticker/trophy under a small edge. You MUST take it or else you're not getting total completion for the stage.

Fourth Part: This Short Part Was Meant To Test Ike Out. DON'T DO IT.
Well, this part can actually be easier if you don't choose Ike (unless you're some crazy dodger). Beware as the game throws you a variety of enemies to destroy.
