1. Start by setting an intention or question (e.g., something you’re struggling with or a goal you'd like to achieve).

2. Draw freeform, impulsive lines across the page. Sometimes, I will you a rock, crystal or coin to help make the lines more abstract.

3. Round off any corners to create harmony between lines (representing internal harmony).

4. Darken and/or extend any lines as you see fit.

5. Add shapes, textures, and colors to enhance your design.

Paper, 9"x12" or smaller, e.g. watercolor, multi-media, printmaking
Black Pen, e.g. Water-Resistant Micron or any other pen or marker
Colors, e.g. Watercolors, Acrylics, Pencils, Markers, Crayons
Paint Brush, e.g. round size 8 or 10
Spray Bottle (to spray water on paints)
Painters Tape (to tape your paper down if you wish)
Glass of Water (to rinse brushes)
Paper Towel (to clean up paint)
Leaf and Stick (to make prints)
Crystal or Other Object (to create abstract lines, else freehand is fine)
