འགྱུར་མེད་བརྩེ་དུངས་ཚེ་རབས་མང་པོར་བཅིངས་པ་བདག་གི་བཟའ་ཟླ་ཚེ་འདས། བསོད་ནམས་བཟང་མོ་ངེད་གཉིས་མཉམ་དུ་ལེན་པའི་གླུ་དབྱངས་དང་པོ་དེ་ཡིན་པས། ཐེངས་འདིར་དཔལ་ལྡན་རང་གཞུང་ཆོས་རིག་ལས་ཁུངས་ཀྱི་བོད་ཀྱི་རིག་གཞུང་དང་སྒྱུ་རྩལ། ཞེས་པའི་ལས་འཆར་གྱི་དངུལ་སྒྲོན་འོག་ནས་དྲན་རྟེན་དུ་བརྙན་ལེན་འདོན་སྤེལ་ཞུས་པ་ལགས།

Rutok Lasi :
This is my sixth recorded song, composed in the central area of the four counties of Khar Rak, Barkhok, Tsorub, and Sumkyil in the Ngari region of lower valley-side Tibet. It is directly connected to the nomadic way of life.
It expresses the deep affection and longing of those who have travelled far distances to their beloved ones, urging them not to forget to return to their homeland of Rutok. This song carries a profound emotional fragrance that spreads extensively.
It praises the natural environment, lamas, kings, parents, and young friends gathered together. It is deeply rooted in the flesh and blood of social life, and is a completely well-known traditional folk song that has authenticity in both words and meaning.
My beloved wife Sonam Sangmo, who passed away and with whom I was bound by unchanging love for many lifetimes-this was the first song we sang together. Therefore, this time, under the financial sponsorship of the Tibetan Arts and Culture Fund of the Department of Religion and Culture of the Tibetan Government-in-Exile, I have recorded and released this as a memorial.
