HIDDEN WONDERS OF BEHALI RESERVE FOREST
The last remaining forest of Biswanath district of Assam, India, Behali Reserve Forest is a pristine patch of semi-evergreen forest which is taking its last breath. Providing shelter to the endangered wildlife migrating from World Heritage Site Kaziranga National Park to Nameri National Park, this forest has been rapidly losing its untouched habitats. Remaining hidden for decades, this forest has seen tremendous human pressure through all means now.
With teeming biodiversity, this forest still is very much neglected by the government as well as the general people. This film gives a glimpse of the rich wildlife, its relationship with the nearby communities and the atrocities it faces.
