Philadelphia, the birthplace of American democracy, is also home to the United States’ third-largest Jewish population. To celebrate the launch of our Autumn 2024 issue, we travelled (virtually) to the Pennsylvanian city for a taste of the heritage and thriving contemporary Jewish culture of its vibrant community.
Guest speakers:
– Ami Yares, musician;
– Deborah Zakheim, artist;
– Rabbi Lance Sussman.
This event originally took place 19 November 2024, hosted in conjunction with the Lyons Learning Project and the Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History.
