What if our buildings are already outdated the day they are completed?
In this eye-opening TEDx talk, Ehsan Reza Zadeh challenges the traditional pace of construction. In a world where technology evolves at lightning speed, buildings often take years to complete and by the time they open their doors, they are already behind.
This talk explores how slow construction cycles impact innovation, efficiency, sustainability, and urban development. Why do we accept outdated systems in a rapidly changing world? And how can smarter, faster, and more adaptive building methods reshape the cities of tomorrow?
Because in the future, buildings shouldn’t be born old they should be born ready. Founder and Owner of Baft Memari Company, holding a Master’s degree in Architecture. His area of expertise lies in prefabricated building systems, including structural and façade solutions.
His professional portfolio includes participation in prominent projects such as Kouh-e Noor, Hermitage, Baran Tower 2, Darvishi Hotel, Hasheminejad International Airport, Sina Hospital, Sama Twin Towers, and Afra Commercial Complex.
He has also collaborated with international firms and consultants on specialized construction projects, contributing to his broad professional experience.
Engineer Rezazadeh’s management model at Baft Memari is founded on four key principles: design-to-execution optimization, prefabrication, commitment to enduring quality, and in-depth technical consultancy. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
