Skyhigh Lookout Overlooking Melbourne City Australia

Описание: During the peak of Covid lockdowns in Melbourne Australia, where most people were working from home, and almost nobody was working in the city, I took a ride up to the Skyhigh Lookout in the Dandenong Ranges, which is one of Melbourne most popular tourist attractions, with amazing views over the Melbourne skyline.

I have been coming up to Skyhigh Lookout every year for the last 30 years, and I have never seen the air so clear over the city, normally the pollution created by all the cars, prevents you from getting a good view of the city skyline, it’s usually very hazy.

Now to give you an idea of distance, Skyhigh Lookout is 50 klms or 31 miles from the city, but on this perfect blue sky summer day, the air was amazingly clear, and I was treated to the best views I have ever seen in 30 years, of the Melbourne city skyline and the surrounding area.

Most people come up to Skyhigh Lookout to eat at the cafe and look out over the city, or to go for a walk down one of the forest trails.

Myself? I simply come up for the amazing view.
