Since I had the huancavelican bandurria I thought to try another genre that actually uses this instrument properly aka a huaynito. And just to give it an even more specific flavor I added in the scissors of the scissor dance which is also practiced in said province of huancavelica. In the art piece the “scissors” are actually what yuuka is holding, when you look at pictures you may think those are joined together but the scissors in question are actually two separate pieces.
I also tuned my charango to huancavelican tuning so at the end there I played a bit and just let the other instruments follow along while still keeping the same motif that yuuka’s theme follows throughout. Funnily enough though I did include a bolivian temple diablo, and the argentinian guitarron on this arrangement too but they work more for supplementing the song really.
