I tried to equip my M4 since this player ran out in front of me with a weapon drawn but nothing happened, so I started running hoping that they would miss if they opened fire. They didn't but continued to chase, so I used a bush to both break line of sight and also get ready to attack. This is on Loot+++ (which is a high ping server for me).
