MOTOR RACING: BRITAIN'S NEW CHALLENGER
The 1970 world championship for Formula One racing cars begins with the South African Grand Prix on March 7th. Among the entries for that event will be a new British car that's been produced, amazingly enough, by a firm that didn't even exist six months ago. It's the March 701 - a car that was translated from the designer's ideas to the fully-fledged prototype in only thirteen weeks. At the beginning of February it was track-tested for the first time at the Silverstone racing circuit in England, with ace drivers Jackie Stewart and Chris Amon at the controls. Both of them think it's a winner.
