Another day spent wandering around the Merseyrail network on Tuesday 8th September 2020.
Starting on the Wirral Line for part 1 with a couple of out and back trips between Central and Birkenhead (Park/North respectively) before heading over to the Northern line for a trip up to Kirkdale (with some old and new visible on the depot)
Back to Sandhills (enjoying the simultaneous departures from the Island platform!) for some middle siding action before heading back to Central for a trip down to Capenhurst
P.S. any answers on that odd high pitched noise the last unit makes as it leaves Capenhurst. Have heard it loads of times over the years but can never work out why some units do it and others don't. As a child I was determined they only made it when we were coming home from somewhere and it was going dark so it could creep me out! I was always very scientific in my assesment of things :-)
P.P.S It's all off the phone as well so no zooming or anything. (Maybe thats a good thing!)
