''Once on This Island'' celebrated a triumphant return to Broadway last night at Circle in the Square Theatre where Michael Arden directs a revival of mythical proportions. Newcomer Hailey Kilgore leads the cast as Ti Moune, an orphan girl guided on a journey by the gods of love (Lea Salonga), death (Merle Dandridge), earth (Alex Newell), and water (Quentin Earl Darrington). The ensemble, along with Arden and the show's Tony-winning composers Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty were on hand after the opening-night performance to answer some questions asked by some of the evening's illustrious guests.
