Video from the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series at Santa Fe Speedway in Hinsdale (Willow Springs), Illinois from 1989. The event on Chicago's SportsChannel cable network was locally produced and featured all 4 weekly divisions (Late Models, Sportsman, S.T.A.R. and Lightning Rods) on the 1/4 mile track.
The broadcast was emceed by Duane Dow of SportsChannel with Santa Fe's Publicity Director Mike Doyle handling color commentator duties. The event features the full broadcast along with all period advertising, most of which are local businesses to the Chicagoland area.
