The pandemic has presented an existential crisis for many organizations, but it also offers an opportunity for leaders to take stock of themselves and consider new ways to adapt and become more resilient. What can the strategies used in other high-stakes environments such as military operations and professional sports teach us about adapting and ultimately prevailing in the current landscape of volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity (VUCA)?

In the session, Prof. Mike Rosenberg will hear from Prof. Frederic Sabrià, a former Olympic athlete, and Senior Lecturer Fred Krawchuk, a decorated U.S. Army Special Forces Colonel, on the unique leadership tools that can be adopted from these environments to develop a more robust adaptive leadership strategy in the complex business world of today.
