My Personal Experience in Miscarriage and this song:

As someone who has endured and felt the heartbreak of miscarriage, I have written this song to promote awareness of the women, parents and families who go through miscarriage, stillbirth or other loss of pregnancy.

When I fell pregnant with my second baby naturally, I was overjoyed as I’ve had previous fertility challenges (Endometriosis stage 4 and PCOS) my first born Maxy was an IVF baby!

I had what’s called a missed miscarriage and for me it meant finding out at 11 weeks that the baby I had been carrying’s heart stopped beating at 8 weeks. I really struggled with this and I remember searching YouTube for a song to help me through these times, but there was no song that I personally could resonate with! When it all felt too much and I couldn’t sleep I went to my piano, sat there in the dark and started writing again. So, here is the result of that night. My own song that would help me through.

I believe women should be able to celebrate their pregnancies for the time they are pregnant and to grieve with the same people who loved hearing the news! Often women don’t tell anyone for the first 12 weeks and in turn have no support if that baby is unfortunately lost. I feel if we can openly talk about falling pregnant, being pregnant and any loss then we can be supported by each other from start to end.

The song will be officially launched on all music platforms (iTunes, Spotify, Amazon etc.) on 15 October – International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day.
