Very Early Egyptian Goose Goslings at Priory Gardens | Rainy January Surprise
A real January surprise at Priory Gardens!
This familiar Egyptian goose pair returned unusually early with 9 tiny goslings, a full month ahead of their usual timing. Despite the rainy weather, it was wonderful to see the goslings already exploring the park just days after hatching.
Egyptian geese are always the first birds here to raise young, but never this early in the year. A rare and heart-warming moment to capture on camera.
Filmed in mid-January on a wet winter day at Priory Gardens.
