Learning by Touch: Introducing Creative Studio Students to Books as Objects, Shannon Marie Robinson (University of Southern California)
As library collections become overwhelmingly digital, we must recognize that touch and movement during research prepare the creative learner for making as a form of scholarship. This presentation introduces object-based learning and haptic learning as multisensory library experiences for print book use in research and learning.
