"CP, Westerns, Conrail, Veterans, EMD and More!" Spring Time Action on the NS Harrisburg Line

Various locations and trains are covered, including a rare daylight CP 165, with a trio of SD40-2's, and much more, from stack trains in inner-city settings to MoW flats in rural farm settings. An extremely off schedule CP 165 (NS 31J) is seen on a Saturday afternoon; it's normal running time is around midnight. It was right behind 65J, so seeing 5 SD40-2's in a row was intense! You can always expect great horns and air bells on those old CP's.

90W has a nice hard throttling blue jeep leading in rural territory, although, the flat cars are empty.

213 with westerners, in the form of Union Pacific, travels through downtown Lebanon, passing 10th St. / PA-72 closest to the camera. Unfortunately, the train was going 30 MPH because of a failed detector transmission, therefore, the train did not catch a lot of bounce on the crossings. Also, I apologize for the twitchy pan movements, it was 94 and humid that day so it was making my tripod a pain to work with in those sticky conditions.

Loaded auto rack 18N blasts out from the Sheridan rock cut... notice the counter-weight on the gate is broken off, causing the gate to hang low. It has since then been replaced.
