We’re super proud of our team who’ve been awarded the ‘Green Airports Recognition 2023’ by the Airports Council International, Asia-Pacific for their work to minimise and divert waste from landfill.
We go through every single red bin of waste that’s discarded in the terminal – pulling out what we can to ensure it’s reused or recycled.
Already our we’re diverting over 50% of our waste from landfill … our goal is to get it to 80%.
This is mahi that makes us extra proud.
We’re extremely proud of our whole team and the crews at Enviro NZ and Sustainably who worked hard to get this initiative up and running.
