I'm glad to show you guys a flight of the P-51 D Mustang, which Thomas Singer lent me for a few flights. The plane is already quite old and was updated to a fully electric power setup at the beginning of this year. It has enough power and brings up between 7 and 10 minutes of flight time. That way, it becomes the perfect plane for flying fields with noise restrictions or late evening flights. The only kind of negative part is the lack of a more regular gas engine sound. The Mustang is powered by a Hacker Motor Q-80 and a 200A ESC. I hope you'll enjoy the video of this fully electric-powered P-51 D Mustang!
