I caught my BIGGEST Sheepshead on Surf City Pier!

Hey y'all, this one is short and sweet! The Sheepshead have been nibbling away on the pilings at Surf City Pier recently. Depending on the conditions, some days you can see scores of them from the deck. On this day, the water was a bit murky, and I wasn't able to sight fish for them. However, dirtier water can work to your advantage with Sheepshead, as they have good eyesight, and can spook easily with crystal clear water. I was able to trick this old and wise fish into eating my bait this day, and I was thrilled by this catch. I can't wait to get back out on the pier to look for more soon!
