You've heard the phrase "the Trend is your Friend". This one hour course will demonstrate how to pick your "good friends" out of the market. It is a must for beginners and a good review for seasoned traders.

The webinar will focus on identifying trends from the very beginning - which is the best way to make money in the markets. In addition you will learn how to identify the most important pattern that signals the end of the current trend and the beginning of a new one using Gann's Swing!

Finally we will discuss the principles of the "swing" within the MetaStock Explorer. You will learn how you can use the MetaStock Explorer to scan the markets to find all of the instruments in the world that are "swing ready".

By the end of the course, the participants will be able to:

Read the price action through candlesticks
Understand the various ways to identify tops and bottoms
Clearly identify uptrends, downtrends, and range
Spot the most important trading pattern: the swing
Apply the correct time frames
Use MetaStock to Scan the markets
About the Presenter: Avramis Despotis has a BSc in Economics from University College London and an MSc in Finance and Banking from the Athens University of Economics. He is a Certified Financial Technician from the International Federation of Technical Analysts, a member of the British Society of Technical Analysts, and is certified from CySec for Portfolio Management and his own account trading.
His extensive trading experience in Foreign Exchange, Money Market, Fixed Income, Commodities, Equities and Derivatives stems from years of trading as an interbank trader. Over the last few years he has taught Technical Analysis, Risk Management and Behavioral Finance to more than 3,000 private and institutional traders, mainly in Europe, Russia, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

Currently he is the Head Portfolio Manager of Atlantic Securities, and director of PHI Trading Academy. He is based in Nicosia, Cyprus with his family.
