In Episode 4 of my Taiwan solo travel series, I joined a popular Taipei day tour exploring the northeast coast of Taiwan. This trip includes some of the most famous destinations near Taipei.
We visited Yehliu Geopark, known for its unique rock formations like the Queen’s Head, explored the lantern-filled streets of Jiufen, and stopped by Shifen Waterfall, often called the “Niagara Falls of Taiwan.” We also walked around Shifen, famous for releasing sky lanterns along the railway tracks, and saw the stunning Golden Waterfall.
