In this video, we run a real world fuel consumption test on the Denza B5 while cruising to The Springs 4x4.
The Denza B5 is running 33.2” aggressive AT tyres with an offset that pushes them outside the guards, so economy is always going to take a hit.
We lock the SOC at 70% using save mode and drive it like a normal petrol vehicle at 100 km/h to see what numbers it actually delivers.
On flatter roads, fuel consumption settles around the low 11s, climbing slightly through the Great Dividing Range and dropping as low as 11.1 L/100km.
This gives a realistic benchmark for anyone running larger tyres and touring without relying on charging.
We also explain how stock wheels, speed, wind, terrain and accessories affect economy, and what you can realistically expect on long highway trips.
