GBO2 Mass Production Type Z Gundam: Better than the original Zeta!

Описание: This video contains two matches I had with the recently released LV1 Mass Production Zeta Gundam on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 550 cost general with excellent mobility, great midrange DPS, long melee reach, decent melee damage alongside a powerful skill that gives it +20 boosting speed, Maneuver Armor and the ability to fire its beam rifle while boosting. It is pretty well rounded, but has some weaknesses. It needs to stop to fire to break through Maneuver Armor, and the spear downswing can partially miss if you don't use it at the ideal range. This suit feels kind of OP, but it is really everything that I wanted in a single suit. To some degree, it feels like a combination of the Sinanju, the Freedom Gundam and the Zeta Plus A1. Its primary weapon is a beam rifle with 2300 power, 5 ammo, 5 seconds cooldown, 13 seconds reload, 0.77 seconds swap time, 400m range and 40% stagger value. This has pretty great performance, offering short cooldown, long range and high damage.
Its primary melee weapon is a beam saber with 2100 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.5 seconds swap time and 60% combo modifier. On its own, this can only deal mediocre damage, but you can do pretty good melee damage overall if you use this in combination with your spear.
Its first sub weapon is a waist beam gun with 600x2 power, 34% heat, 13 seconds overheat, 0.5 seconds swap time, 350m range and 35%x2 stagger value. This weapon works basically exactly the same as the one on the Zeta A1, they must stop to fire but they have incredible stagger value and damage output. This is your best follow-up after a downswing.
Its second sub weapon is a long beam saber with 2400 power, 3.5 seconds cooldown, 0.77 seconds swap time and 95%x2 downswing modifier. This has great reach alongside a fast downswing to use it with. The reach means that you can start combos on suits from much further away than the typical melee general can. Unlike the original Zeta though, the rifle barrel is much longer, and it doesn't have a hitbox. This makes it difficult to hit both parts of the animation.
Its third sub weapon is a gerobi style beam rifle mode with 900x5 power, 100% heat, 20 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap time, 450m range, 5 seconds focus time and 35%x5 stagger value. This can focus on the move but must stop to fire. It shoots an instant stagger piercing beam that can deal incredible damage.

The LV1 MP Zeta Gundam has 20000 HP, 17 ballistic resist, 27 beam resist and 16 melee resist. It has better durability than the Zeta Gundam while costing 50 points less. Even compared to other 550 costers, it has a lot of HP despite its size. It has LV2 Emergency Evasion, but no Maneuver Armor unless it is using the DV Stabilizer skill.
In terms of mobility it has 130 walk speed, 210 boost speed, 75 thrust and 78 turning speed. Even before you consider anything else, this is really nice mobility for 550 cost, especially once you consider that it has LV2 Forced Injector and LV3 Flight Control. It is made even better once you look at LV1 DV Stabilizer Control. This skill activates when boosting forward, after 0.5 seconds you gain 5 boosting speed, after 1 second you gain 10 boosting speed, but after 1.5 seconds you gain not only 20 boosting speed, but also Maneuver Armor and the ability to fire your beam rifle while boosting. This is extremely powerful, even though it takes 1.5 seconds to fully activate, you can approach enemies with a stun ready while boosting with 230 HSM.
It also has LV1 Pursuit Aux Ranged Program and LV1 Thrust-Based Fire Cooling System. The first one boosts ranged damage dealt to knocked over enemies by 15%. The second one reduces regular beam heat recovery time by 20%, and cuts overheat times in half, but only while boosting.

In conclusion, I feel that the Zeta Gundam Mass Production Type will become a meta mainstay for 550 cost. It is really juiced in multiple areas, it has an answer for just about any suit at cost. It can easily play at a midrange shooter, as a frontline full aggro melee suit, or as a combination of the two. You will always have a weapon ready if you are managing your overheat times with the thrust based cooling skill, and it is really easy to gain the upper hand on enemies without Maneuver Armor thanks to you being able to conditionally fire your beam rifle while boosting. The only thing you really have to watch out for is the spear hitbox, it is about as long (maybe even longer) than the one on the OG Zeta Gundam, but again, the second part of the downswing can miss at close range thanks to the rifle barrel itself not having a hitbox. This suit can definitely rival the Perfect Gundam and Geara Doga Psycommu Test Type, so I can definitely recommend that you roll for it. Thanks for watching!
