Today would see SR Merchant Navy Class 35028 “Clan Line” haul its first railtour of the year: “The Golden Age of Travel by Steam”, having just passed its fitness to run exam.
The locomotive is firstly seen from Wandsworth Road, powering out of London Victoria with Battersea Power Station in the background. 35028 is then seen a second time on the return leg, this time along Dover seafront after having just left Dover Priory. Great to see this magnificent locomotive back in action!
