Boyd Schidt is the solo project of Levan Lolishvili, a pioneering figure in the Tbilisi electronic music scene and a resident DJ at the iconic club KHIDI. With a career rooted in both local innovation and international recognition, Boyd Schidt has established himself as a central force in the evolution of Georgian techno.
First gaining attention as part of the duo Greenbeam & Leon, he began his solo career in 2010. Since then, Boyd Schidt has developed a distinctive sound that fuses industrial, dark, and experimental techno. His relentless exploration of texture and rhythm has led to releases on highly regarded labels such as Sonic Groove (Berlin), KHIDI, Gordo Traxx, Deestricted, Front Left Records, Kindcrime Recordings, Studio R, Wavereform, Diffuse Reality Records, NovaFuture Recordings, KONFLKT, Omen Records, and Renegade Methodz.
As a key member of the legendary Sonic Groove roster, he continues to push boundaries both in and out of the studio. While performing immersive and intense DJ sets on international stages, he remains a powerful presence within Georgia’s club scene. His long-standing residency at KHIDI, in particular, both reflects and actively shapes the ongoing development of techno in Tbilisi.
