This was my first time shooting on Super 16mm film, and honestly, it was absolutely worth it. I filmed this wedding using my Krasnogorsk-3 (K-3), paired with the Sony FX3 to blend analog film with digital footage at Kingwood Center Gardens.
Alexis and Matt’s wedding was beautiful, and this film is a reflection of their day. There’s something special about loading film, hearing the camera run, and not knowing exactly what you’ll get until it’s developed. That unpredictability is what makes every frame feel intentional, present, and alive.
