Описание: A short video showing the American Singer Bobby Rydell (b1942) singing "Sway" from 1961. The Teen Idol secured a peak position of number 12 in the UK chart (1960) with this song. I suspect the video is just a little later. With his clear articulation and singing ablity Bobby had numerous hits in the early 1960s. However, a shift in tastes was evident by the middle 1960s in America, with group formats like the Beatles rising in popularity and stealing the attention of a new generation of teenagers.
