Rain continues in Delhi-NCR, IMD issues yellow alert

The IMD has forecast light to very light rainfall in Delhi-NCR over the next few days. A yellow alert was issued as moderate showers continued overnight, pushing July’s rainfall total above the monthly average. IMD’s Naresh Kumar said the rain is likely to subside after August 3, with heavier showers expected to persist over Northeast India.
