The South African Weather Service has issued a level 9 orange warning for Gauteng and three other provinces, with heavy rain expected from Saturday. The warning covers Gauteng, the eastern North West, south-western Limpopo, and the Mpumalanga Highveld. Forecaster Lehlohonolo Thobela says residents should prepare for major disruptions due to severe weather conditions. SAWS forecaster Edward Engelbrecht elaborates.
