Re-pot, Heavy To Light For "Frost Proof" Gardenia (4K) - May 8, 2025

Описание: Second year over-wintering outdoors last winter except when daily low is -5C. Much better than the previous years when all leaves dropped and the plant practically start from scratch again in May.
The only problem is the weight of the planter. Our patio is up a few step of stairs. For this to be sustainable (& safe), need a light pot. While the root ball is not crying out for a re-pot, doing it now in Spring!

去年冬天，除了白天最低温度为-5摄氏度以外，第二年都在户外越冬。比前几年好多了，前几年所有叶子都掉光了，到了五月，植物几乎又从头开始生长。
唯一的问题是花盆的重量。我们的露台离楼梯有几级。为了可持续（且安全），需要一个轻便的花盆。趁着根球还没到需要换盆的时候，现在春天就换盆吧！
