Trace elements are essentially ions in your reef tank that are in comparatively lower concentrations in contrast to calcium, alkalinity, magnesium, chloride, sulfate, and sodium.

There are many different trace elements in our water, but the most abundant are ions such as iron, manganese, molybdenum, nickle, copper, cobalt, chromium, phosphorous, selenium, tin, zinc, and vanadium.

So follow along and we'll help you decide if trace element supplementation is right for you and your reef!
