The Vertical Forest is a complex of two residential tower buildings with the presence of more than two thousand tree species, including shrubs and tall trees, distributed on the facades. It is an ambitious metropolitan reforestation project that through the vertical densification of the green is proposed to increase the plant and animal biodiversity of the Lombard capital, reducing its urban expansion and also contributing to the mitigation of the microclimate.
As a testament to its architectural recognition, Bosco Verticale was the winner of numerous competitions: in addition to the International Highrise Award, which was awarded in 2014, in 2015 Bosco Verticale was awarded the prize for «the most beautiful and innovative skyscraper of the world », according to a classification by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat.

These important architectures are accompanied by cycle paths, pedestrian walks and large paved public spaces, such as Piazza Gae Aulenti and Piazza Alvar Aalto.
The fulcrum of the existing neighborhoods is the Tree Library, a large public park covering about 90,000 m²
and are based on a network of inter-connected pedestrian paths, arranged so as to bring together different types of trees to create a "botanical library". The value of an urban park as a tourist attraction is also guaranteed by music, cinema, games for adults and children, educational centers such as the "Museum of flowers and insects".
The park is home to 90,000 plants and 450 trees, equipped sports areas, thematic circular forests, vegetable gardens, educational trails, bike trails and runners.

🇮🇹 Nuovo quartiere "Porta Nuova" è un complesso ecosostenibile oltre venti edifici tra grattacieli, uffici, centri culturali e ville urbane. Gli edifici si caratterizzano per una notevole altezza e un forte impatto architettonico.

*La Torre Unicredit, più alto grattacielo in Italia, con altezza di 231 metri.

*La Torre Diamante, è una struttura dalla forma sfaccettata, simile a quella di un diamante, dall'altezza complessiva di 140 metri. Tale dato lo qualifica come quarto grattacielo più alto di Milano e l'edificio in acciaio più alto d'Italia.
La Torre Diamante è correlata da due corpi bassi chiamati Diamantini che si pongono come elemento di continuità del grattacielo stesso, formando complessivamente il vasto business district.

Il Bosco Verticale è un complesso di due palazzi residenziali a torre con la presenza di più di duemila essenze arboree, tra arbusti e alberi ad alto fusto, distribuite sui prospetti. Si tratta di un ambizioso progetto di riforestazione metropolitana che attraverso la densificazione verticale del verde si propone di incrementare la biodiversità vegetale e animale del capoluogo lombardo, riducendone l'espansione urbana e contribuendo anche alla mitigazione del microclima.
A testimonianza del suo riconoscimento architettonico, il Bosco Verticale è risultato vincitore di numerose competizioni: oltre all'International Highrise Award, di cui è stato insignito nel 2014, nel 2015 il Bosco Verticale si è aggiudicato il premio come «grattacielo più bello e innovativo del mondo», secondo una classificazione del Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat.

Si accompagnano a queste importanti architetture percorsi ciclabili, passeggiate pedonali e ampi spazi pubblici lastricati, come piazza Gae Aulenti e piazza Alvar Aalto.
Fulcro urbano tra i quartieri esistenti è la Biblioteca degli Alberi, grande parco pubblico esteso per circa 90 000 m²
e sono basati su un intreccio di percorsi pedonali collegati tra loro, disposti in modo da accostare diversi tipi di alberi per creare una "biblioteca botanica".
Il parco ospita 90 mila piante e 450 alberi, aree attrezzate per lo sport, foreste circolari tematiche, orti, percorsi didattici, sentieri per bici e runner.
