Feed bags on the floor, rodents, humidity, spilled grain, and digging for a scoop every day… Not my idea of fun.
In this video, I show how I built a DIY animal feed storage tank using a 55-gallon drum, simple hand tools, and leftover materials — for under $50 per tank.
This system is:
🐀 Rodent-proof
💧 Humidity-resistant
🌾 Zero spill, zero waste
🪣 Just place a bucket underneath and open the valve
No augers. No electronics. No expensive silos.
This setup is perfect for pastured broilers, layers, poultry, and small livestock operations.
I built two super-durable feed tanks — one for starter feed and one for grower feed — and the total cost was under $100 USD.

❌ Long reaches into feed sacks
