About this video: Find out how to play multiplayer on Hytale to start joining other people. There are few different ways to play Hytale multiplayer, and we are going to be going over all of them.

The first method we are going to look at is inviting your friends to your singleplayer world. This is done by playing Hytale in singleplayer and pausing the game. Then, go to “Online Play”. Toggle “Allow Other Players to Join” to “On” and click Save. You will now have a share code. Click to copy that code and send it to your friend.

They will go to the “Servers” tab in Hytale and click “Join via Code” in the bottom left and paste your code. They should then join into your world. However, if they do have issues, it could be that you need to change your router settings to allow the connection.

However, we can now move into making your server to play multiplayer. There are two methods to do this. The first is making a free Hytale server on your computer. There is a complete guide to doing this linked in the description above. You can also make a server on a hosting company, which is typically a lot easier and has benefits such as auto-AUTH.

The last method of playing Hytale is on a public server. There is a link in the description above to a Hytale server list. Here, you and your friend would just get the server IP, and you would both join the server using that IP. It’s that easy to start playing multiplayer Hytale!
